How to lower death skill loss when hosting a world?

By hosting I mean just ticking the option before loading a save

The time needed to level a single skill level become a grind lasting nearly an IRL 1/2 day loosing upward to 5-10 level on every skill per death depending on your progress is just to brutal, looking to set it to only loose your progression until the next level instead, currently we're stuck at the mountain because even maxed iron gear with 3x80 food buffs can barely protect us from a single attack if failing a block and we only fight pack of such enemies

Each death lowering skill just make it even harder to fight the same enemies forcing us back to grind for hours again

The mod Valheim Plus has a ton of settings, specifically the amount of experience gained. Then Gravekeeper allows you to adjust the amount of experience lost when dying as well as allowing you to keep your inventory items as well.

Hey there,

please remember that as of now modding is not officially supported. It's done at your own risk, there are no guarantees for future compatibility. Please keep backups of your save files before you start modding. If you need technical support, please always include a full list of active AND prior mods, since that can influence the game's behaviour with regard to bugs.

Have a good day!

Also, everyone in a multi-player game has to have the same mods (for the most part) installed client side as well.
