Addressing what seems like the OP's concerns about admin commands and creative mode: I'm trying to think of examples in early access or post launch where a dev removed such capabilities by players to do and cannot think of any. Devs implement them so players can have flexibility in their game play needs and it'd be counter intuitive to just up an remove them if they'd groomed those considerations from the start and thus alienate players.

While the OP wasn't speaking to mods either, this would be similarly applicable.

But game's development is still in progress, so things may and will change.

Mods kept Skyrim alive for more than 10 years now, mods bring money for the devs, mods entertain the community, mods are the best thing that a game could get.

A typical case of a gamer that sees the developers of a game as antagonists. You do realize that without a game there would be no mods?
And that not EVERY game actually needs mods?
They're nice to have, but not a necessity.

What would be the point? They CAN'T remove mods, because strictly speaking it is the engine that is modded, not the game. They would have to develop a completely closed engine on their own, and I don't think that's their goal.

And again, what would be the point? Some of those extreme mod supporters go to real extreme lengths here.

People need to learn that without games, they would not have anything to mod. So it's really a partnership, and there's no reason for developers to shun the mod community and make it artificially hard for them.

This is really getting ridiciolous.

Sounds to me like OP is talking about devcommands? Might be good to clarify that, because those are two very different kinds of things.

Last fire side chat the devs went over some mods they like, so no, they won't be.
