Yea, you could do it with devcommands.

What dev commands resets dungeons?
The answer is there isn't one, please don't post if you don't know what you are talking about.

Iron Gate designed the game to have wordl hopping. Has portals and long ships.

Yea, you could do it with devcommands.

Either world hop or explore, its up to you.

Be careful not to accidentally admit to world hopping as it may trigger some people for unknown reasons.

Idea of the game is to explore, not bypass material needs by basicly cheating and taking easy way.

I get why you said this, but i feel you missed the reason that ye olde Raybeze was asking in the first place. The idea is to set up a world that everyone can enjoy no matter their status, the longer the server goes the further new spawns have to go to progress. So i can't fault Ray for trying to find a work around for this say even if the dungeons respawn after X days. which imo would NOT be the end of the world and i would like to see implemented.

Some of us, like providing servers with nice infrastructure and amenities and very much enjoy building them either alone or with mates.
This extends beyond convenience and more as a means of hosting a good and enjoyable experience. Because like it or not friend, not everyone enjoys the grind but some of us enjoy those people that dont, ya dig?

In my experience with servers, I would advise you to use Valheim Plus and add mods to customize the game to your needs.
At the moment Valheim is more of singleplayer which is grindbased on multiplayer, just without the benefits of multiplayer (if that makes sense, my english is not the best).


I can say that the Valheim map is big enough that 10 people can build several big bases + armor ect without getting into trouble. But, even with a few people you have to quickly drive further and further out for the simplest things (for us tin was a big problem). This can be fun at the beginning, but can also be very quickly just annoying for new people as you can imagine ^^''.
Of course it depends on the people playing on the server.

As far as i know the dungeons (outside of glowing mushrooms) do not reset and there is no means of which to get them to. It may be worth looking into some of the mods available on nexus etc?

just keep in mind every player will have to have them installed too.

If there is no mod to reset dungeons might i suggest using the shared map/map marker mod (Valheim Plus) and just ask people to X out the completed ones?
I get it isn't the droid you are looking for but at the very least you won't be jumping into completed dungeons.

All ores in in crypts and or dungeons donot respawn, the solution is to find another seed for the ores and everyone simply logs into it from your server.
That seed will stay in your seed loadingmenu use a few different seeds. Log out with your ores in inventory then log into your main gain. You keep the ores.
Use this world seeder and tick the boxes. copy the seed , you start it then invite your friends. Not sure how you'd go about it on a dedicated server probably the same. I even have a seed unique for all the bosses so I dont get swarm attacks on my promary base. Good Luck

Actually i can't believe i didn't suggest this as well, but people on my server have kind of designated particular islands as harvest islands. Again, not an elegant solution but it is kinda immersive going out on a voyage with your crew to a new land to strip it of its resources and take em home lol

another great solution!

im pumped to jump back into this game, the modding scene has gone crazy since i've played last.

It will not reset no matter what, yeah that's kinda bummer but if it can reset then the game are no longer fun I think because we can mark several caves then keep coming back to it when we needed it makes us not explore the map also it makes more realism since materials are finite.
How many friends are gonna be joining your server? I've played with 3 friends and all got what they need I mean the materials are more than enough for them to use. But it requires us to explore more area to mine the materials including sailing to the neighbors' islands
