Think temperature causes pc’s to crash according to the experts. PC being on carpet isn’t good also. Not enough air circulation.

Could also be a power issue. Older computer I had worked fine until games would make the GPU to draw more power than the PSU could supply, causing it to "reboot", when it really just shut down and then powered back on.

valheim atm has a specificly high demand on power supply spiking so it might be an underlying psu-problem that surfaces because of this. i struggled with psu outages for months with no logs. while i could play most demanding games fine it always tended to shut down pc on subnautica2 specifically i found no logic in it until i read an in depth article about spike voltages. when a psu is not suberb quality it tends to create deviations which triggers built=in hardwired emergency shutdown procedures of cpu/mobo if problem persists try upgrading your psu to a higher grade (not higher voltage but better quality) and ensure optimal airflow, also be careful becaus eif it's this problem you might actually damage your HD/mobo/ram etc if you keep trying.

There should be a stickied thread with basic computer operation tips and help as these posts show no sign of slowing.

Sounds like an overheat issue. If it isn't your CPU or GPU, then it's your Power Supply

its not cause when i play dayz my pc doesnt crash.

before this recent update my pc did not crash on this game. so i dont think its my psu, also it turns out other people have the same issue.

People have reported having an issue with solutions to solve it because it solved theirs.

OP refuses to believe the problem is on his end because he can play Dayz.

This problem will continue to magically happen because his computer doesn't crash when playing Dayz

Other people reporting their game crash is proof it's the game, without any context on what other people are crashing at.

I am surprised the dude hasn't solved the problem with how much they know about computers.

Out of all my games I play valhiem is the only game that crashes my pc. Also other people report the same issue on the valhiem main website bug reports page a lot of people report this issue and also Reddit too. It’s the game!

It's definitely an overheating issue for me. I have a dead fan in my PC and I am too lazy to replace it, so I use an external fan to vent the heat. Any time I forget to turn that fan on, my PC shuts down within an hour of launch.
