It would be nice, if IGS never does a sale for Valheim ever. Generally for all games. Would be less frustrating for those who pay regular prices and it keeps the value constant.

It's cheaper now as an early access, the price will only go up as a full release, which will be some years away. Sales only come after that, when players drop and they need to still make money.

$20 is too much for one of thee best games out there? Please.

I can't see them putting this on sale for a very long time. The problem with hugely popular EA priced games is that everyone who will likely ever buy the game (6 million plus people) has done so. When it releases at its full, wholly deserved price, nobody will be left to buy it.

My guess would be there won't be any sales until well after the completed version is released. Chances are the game's price will go up $10 to $20, maybe more, once it is. Then it might go on sale for 10 or 20 percent off at most.

It's worth every cent and it'll probably won't be cheaper than it is right now any time soon.

Better buy the game now, or spend the same amount in 2 years with 33% discount.
Although you could wait for the summer sale in 1 or 2 days or so to see if it gets a 15% discount or something.

I personally know it when it already helps to be able to save a few euros (or dollars). And even so it is completely subjective how someone finds something and how much it is worth to him.

Doubt it as fathers day is not a Steam event. But wishlist it and the game developers keep on eye on them may offer a week end special.
Remember 5 to 6 million copies were sold in a few weeks. So they may or may not put it on sale just yet :)

Early Access games, especially ones in as active development as this one, don't go on sale very often. Don't count on it.

I believe Iron Gate has already stated they won't be doing that, 20 is a fair price and the price will be going up as development progresses.
