I paid 20 for a game i've racked up 135 hours in just 2 weeks.
I've reconnected with gaming mates that split off to play other styles of games (Civ n stuff)
I've been able to do more or less everything i love about survival games with little i don't, like forced PVP.

*shrug* guess i don't feel the same way as you about this OP.
Not a dig but by any chance did you come to steam from Console? I've noticed a large chunk of disgruntled players are ex console players new to steam and PC gaming in general and just curious if you're another of their number as i see on your steam profile you've only been here for 2 years.

i played more than 200H aswell i wont say this game is bad, they are just lazy or maybe cant handle the success idk. Im pretty sure this game will die like 7D2D and other early access games :) you can hate me for this comment i dont care. THEY MADE MILLIONS and cant hire more employees srsly, we are waiting months for new content and all what we get is this leaks with a "Sorry but the road map will be smaller" :) no thank you thats a waste of time and money and dont try to say "its not easy to be a dev" i know single devs with 100x bigger games.

I can understand peoples frustration but i feel maybe people should hold off on the doom saying for 6 months min. Specifically because Iron Gate have hired people, need to get them on board with the current projects workflow, need to aquire tech for new staff during a global tech shortage, have to navigate lockdown laws in regards to development studio spaces.

They are a new studio and even with Coffee Stain's help they will no matter what have to implement new Policies and Procedures among other things in order to streamline their expansion in future. This is all so they don't squander those "millions" they got and abandon the game.
However, this all takes time to setup and they've had to do it FAR earlier than expected. The fact they have been 100% transparent about this process is already 4000000000x better than TFP and 7d2d and their legendary radio silence and marathon alpha project.

You can't build a tower without a good base.

4 months into development and dealing with lockdown.... i really hope you don't buy 7d2d that is currently in its 7th year of "Alpha"

Well since they just announced they were hiring more people, maybe you are just talking out of your arse.
So what you are saying is you want the devs to follow the current pattern of just creating things and releasing then without thorough testing like so many other developers? Personally I would like them to take thier time and do it right. This game is already awesome and people seem to forget this came out 4-5 months ago. But you keep on with your negative thinking pattern of the devs abandoning the game.
Also your comment about knowing single devs with games that have 100 times more material is a lie and everyone here knows it.

Yeah it's a lie ;) dont need to proof it, the whole game is made with post-processing with unity, theres nothing to work on tbh all the cool effects and visual stuff is just "a filter" the core of the game is simpel, Bug fixes? tbf there are not THAT many bugs. I am using Unity aswell and i can tell you, trust me a single person can make bigger games with unity but okay dude :) you're the Champ. Btw Luke Hodorowicz as example his first game Banished is waaaaay much more complex.

Congratulations bugfixes and a small visual update for the bosses, maybe 10mb? for a half year 😂 NICE!
