Maybe you need to keep digging down if there's a Silver vein it could be deeper

yea try a 1 viking deep and 1 viking diameter around where the bone was. Or just move on until it shuts up, and try again.

Yeah, it's not a silver detector or even an ore detector. It's a general buried stuff detector.

the wishbone ALSO locates treasure ... this is bad luck. it will ping near graves out in the meadows too. There is probably a chest with some vendor trash nearby the bones.

you are doing the right thing. Mountain graves are fairly rare.

Picked up the bone. It’s still ringing, but the perimeter’s hollowed out.

I have encountered this problem aswell. I dug exactly where the highest ping is, found a skeleton, pressed e to collect bones, which sometimes gives silver necklace aswell, but the ping still keeps going. I'm not sure what you need to do to disable pinging for skeletons, it would be nice to know otherwise just have to ignore it and move on
