Greydwarves indeed. Somehow, I'm often low on red mushrooms. I will go do a forest run to pick some up and the Greydwarf gangs annoy the heck out of me. I no longer fight them, I just run by. I wish IGS toned them down a good deal.

I have never seen skellies in plains or mistlands, unless it is a raid. They are annoying, too, yes.

greydwarves. no contest. they arent dangerous. BUT THEYLL DRIVE YOU NUTS BY BEEING ANNOYING AS ♥♥♥♥.

Fulings at night in the plains. You can get up to 5 of them at a time and they like to try to circle around and get behind you. A couple of 2 stars are a decent menace. I don't even pay attention to grey dwarves any more. I just walk through them. If they block my path they get a quick swat and I just keep going.

Trolls!
You simply mind your own business in the Black forest. Picking berries and mushrooms.
You then suddenly hear the trolls roar behind you. The screen starts shaking.

Quickly now. Equip your main weapon... and ...
The last thing you see is all the trees behind you explode in a flurry of flying logs and another log landing splat in your face.

the sea serpent. Its never there when you want it and always there when you don't, and its run-away-if-hurt mechanic makes it an aggravation to hunt, and its loot not floating (still!) means you have to drag it across the ocean if you want scales. It would be tolerable if its scales floated (yes, I know you can cheat this in). Its probably awesome as a group effort for new players. But solo, its just an annoyance that I can't bring myself to deal with, having done it a couple of times to see what its about. I just sink them with the crossbow and done now, and that is not too bad since i don't care to get the meat or scales, its fine. But its wasteful.

Seeker Soldiers for me. Especially the 1 or 2 star ones. Give me a hoard of Fulings any day or night.

The bats! It's always them every time I go to feed my hens, the bloody cauldron starts to stir and they kill them all!

BATS, took me forever to find two star boar & build a moat , and didn't know there is a raid event with bats fml

High ranked versions of some enemies. Especially the dvergr seem like capable of dealing nightmarish amount of damage.

Other than that, I'd probably say leeches, but I still appreciate how unique of a creature they are in the game's context.

Stone Golems. They just take FOREVER to kill with a bow, which is my go-to weapon by the time I'm in the mountains. Every time I hear one spawn I just want to portal back and alt+F4.

Yes this, i don't like cheating but this is the point i just spawned in new 2* boars. Never knew there was a bat event and then they slaughtered my boars. You can't do anything against them, you need some big structure to protect them, they are no threat to you whatsoever and are just there to annoy you. And what do they drop?, a chance for leather, whoop, that's what my boars do better.

Why are you killing them with a bow, never specialize in 1 weapon unless you want to suffer.

The bow kills literally everything except these. That's why I dislike them. I even use the same woodcutting axes as a weapon without problems.

In terms of "suffering", I think it takes more to level up another weapon than it does to kite these with a bow. It's rather a strange ask to level up skills just for one rare mob, which isn't necessary for any kind of progression.
