Make more than one bow.

What level is your bow? If you have a Level 4 Bow, you shouldn't have any durability issues before Moder is dead.

Ah yes I forgot. I have to have 10 backup bows, all max level. Thanks for the advice!

Do you even have ONE bow at max level? You don't need more than 250 arrows for Moder.

No it isn't. Moder is weak to Fire, but Fire only does 22 damage, meaning 33 damage plus the 11 Pierce. Just stick to the Obsidian arrows that you've got; those will work great.

So just to cover the obvious. You're hitting Moder most of the times yes? At full power? Cos dividing his Wiki reported hp by the dam val of obsidian's (no not including the bow damage add) you 'd only need 200 or so? As Max says above?

I have one bow called "Huntsman" bow on max level. I did not find a better bow.

One Obsidian Arrow makes about 1 millimeter damage to Moder.

Even worse, she seems to heal herself over time.

Given the slow progress with the arrows, there is no progress at all.

You don't even need anywhere hear that arrow amount.

On a Bow-only run that I did, using Needle Arrows and Level 4 Draugr Fang, Moder died in either 60 or 80 Needle Arrows; can't remember which one it was. Now, your Bow skill probably isn't as high as mine was, and you're also using arrows that do a bit less damage, but Moder should be dead in around 120 at most IMO.

Huntsman isn't bad, and it's actually useful late-game. I honestly don't believe this at all without any videos or anything.

What is your Bow skill? It might not help if it's like, 7 or something.

Thanks for clarifying :) OK there is another bow above that I guess you've not got the right combo of mats to unlock it yet! But that said a Huntsman at level 4 should get the job done in the 200 arrows mentioned. Assuming good clean hits?
Hmm the bosses do heal up a touch if you retreat but not noticed it being so much as to radically stall a fight.
Planning to beat him up in my current run soon might give it a go with a huntsman just to test in case anythings shifted mechanic wise since my last attempt?

Fair point. I'd want at least a 30 at the point I was planning to shoot ol' Modsy down myself.

Ok, you seem to have serious problems in this game. Just noting that with regards to your previous comments.

1. There is one better bow available once you got silver. It is the Draugr Fang.
2. The huntsman bow should still be good enough.
3. I just beat Moder with a Draugr Fang (and an Abyssal Razor) at level three. I needed around 150 arrows (mostly poison, the rest needles).
4. My bow was never a concern breaking.
5. I had a portal up there which I could (and did) use to restore my health and - if necessary - repair my stuff. Maybe you should try that as well.
6. Regarding your previous problems, you shouldn't even try to attack Moder without having full access to silver gear. Just as a warning. It again seems that you are very underprepared.

I have Huntsman Bow max lvl
Silver Gear max lvl (exccept pants: max lvl -1)
Silver Sword max lvl -1

I will now try to lure her to a nearby watchtower where I have a bed and can hde from her attacks. Maybe that works.
