Good news; for those still wondering, in Infested mines cleared AFTER the patch, I have successfully observed royal jelly respawning reliably after 9 whole days.

Keeping track of this somewhere might be a good idea, as you can collect another round of jelly from each post-patch dungeon every ninth day.

I have 2 eligible mines so far that yield together 45 jelly on this 9 day interval. I would very much like to see if anyone else has seen similar or other timings.

So all old mines cleared out before the patch are doomed to remain barren? Damn that sucks, I had a couple close by but had cleared them a long time and the couple I cleared post-patch are all further away.

I changed the word "spawn" to "respawn". "Pre-patch" was always there.
I don't know why you don't just admit you didn't read the title properly.

Oh and the purpose of this is to figure out if the changes affect dungeons that have already been explored pre-patch.

Bro like the game is updated, you can clearly see at the Download section and there are patch note on the top in your Library when you click Valheim, How the f you miss this?.

Been inside of one of my cleared mines so far; no apparent change as of yet, possible previously cleared mines will remain barren, though I cannot conclusively prove that just yet. Best case scenario is that *IF* pre-cleared mines can respawn they're all still on the refresh timer as of loading in the game for the first time post patch, though I suspect I am being hopeful.

Cleared a new mine as well; have not seen any of those new Hanging jelly bits I read about, really hoping that one will be a respawning mine.

it should atleast according to tests done on the public test branch. even enemies should respawn in there.

Any idea how long it takes for enemies to respawn?

No enemy respawn in dungeons, never has been. I also highly doubt that jelly respawns.

unknown. jelly seems to take atleast 3 days from what i read. enemies seem to take longer or they dont work for cleared dungeons. cannot answer that sadly.

I'm pondering this myself; the patch does mention something about a new fixture; Hanging jelly whatevers or something.

In the mean time, to err on the side of caution, I haven't done any new infested mines in case the ones I've clared before this patch hits, stay barren and haven't ventured into any more, though I've been setting up portal nodes near each new one I've found so far.

Hopefully the respawning jelly will apply to previously cleared dungeons, but if not, I still have at least 2 dungeons untouched that I haven't entered so far that should update just fine.

I guess I'll take the time to fart about my base, maybe spruce it up a little.

Can't remember exactly where now , could be one of the Jiroc's videos with devs or something , but i read/heard that jelly&mobs will only respawn in yet unexplored dungeons.
