Upgrade Traffic Jam
Does anyone have a preferred map of how to place all the upgrades which need to be near the workbench or forge to work? I'm coming to the conclusion that they will almost make a semicircle on the backside to allow near approach from the front.

This may not be to everyone's taste but a lot of them I bury in the walls and under the floorboards. Maybe one or two outdoors but still in range where it looks right.
I've done that on a few builds as well. Works great, and it cuts down on particle effects if you have an older graphics card.

Now that is an idea. Under the floor would be neat and out of the way. I believe I'll really consider that on my main base which I'm starting to design.

You don't need to approach it from the front by the way.
I place the large blower opposite side from the small blower on the table.
Small anvils as far away as possible or even on the other side of a wall.
Cooler also away, I have put them on roofs near it or even on shelves.
Grinding wheel typically near it.
Tool rack overhead.
Had one set up where front and back were open but back had a space between the wall and boxes for metal on the wall. Made it easy to grab a ton of metal and not have to move over-encumbered.

Just started putting this one together near a swamp with iron.
Stone tower was there already, just took it over.
This was my first forge area on this seed.

This is under an elevated house so it is covered as well. Put the cooler on top of the fine wood table in back. Close enough to the bed above to get the comfort from the table as well.
