CPU runs hot when running Valheim - even on lowest settings
I am running an Alienware Aurora 12 - Intel Core i9 @ 3.50GHz and 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090.
It's a brand new computer (Gotten it in October 2021) which also stands in a rather cooling draft of air as I keep my terrace door open all the time in my computer room.
I also clean out my computer every month with a brush, can of air and a vacuum cleaner ;-)
When playing Valheim, no matter if solo or with friends, my CPU goes up to 70+ Celsius and my GPU around 67 Celsius. And I tried all the hints, Tips & tricks found on reddit and other pages found with aunty google. Nothing worked. It's either CPU & GPU getting too hot for my taste or the CPU is getting too hot for my taste.
I play various other Games (Rust, BG3, ESO, Battlefield, Divinity 2, Witcher 3, Borderlands 3 yaddayadda) on high / max settings without my CPU or GPU breaking into sweat.
CPU and GPU usually stay nicely below 60 Celsius.
The CPU usually picks its nose with 35 - 45 Celsius unless I do my 3D artsy stuff in ZBrush & Carrara 8.5 Pro on maxed out high quality settings & high poly & ray count. But even then my CPU doesn't go even near 60 C.
Many player have the same issue - Valheim overheats their CPU or GPU (or both), while other Games & applications don't.
So my question now is - will this issue be fixed/optimized in Valheim or do we have to expect it to stay like this as a final result?

How's your CPU usage in this game vs other games? There's no reason for it to get that hot. Is it utilizing every core, or overworking some of them? Your hardware should be sleeping for this game.

My PC does this as well, OP. I don't have a 3090 or anything, but my PC crushes other games on ultra settings. With Valheim it starts acting like it suddenly developed asthma during a marathon. All the fans are spun-up and things get pretty warm.
I assume it's just bad optimization due to the game still being in early access, but I look forward to hearing others' responses/solutions.

I've not yet seen my 5900X fully fire up the fans, even with some mining. But Valheim had me thinking "What the hell's that noise?" earlier today. CPU was toasty.
