...not going to defeat Yagluth yet, as there really isn't a reward for doing it except to get Furlings spawning whereever...

Start a new game, play a different style. Done that a couple times. Mostly involves small 'house rules' or mods to change the game.

same im waiting to defeat yagluth even with 300+ hrs played, but iv got fully upgraded gear on mutiple alts and tons of materials, resit pots and best food stocked up

I hope to retire, maybe devote my time to some type of charity.

I know clean water is a big thing, apparently socks are important too.

I guess i'm kinda waiting on my calling.

Seriously though , i finally decided to fight Yag a few days ago. Everything I have is top tier : Food , weapons, meads, arrows, armor, etc.

Cleared spawns, popped Bonemass ability.

Then i summoned him and straight face tanked him. Didn't block, didn't parry , didn't roll. I popped a couple stamina meads and heal meads, kept smacking him with my Frostner. then he was dead.

Still had time on my bonemass buff in the end.

300+ hrs in game and on my 4th World just maxing skills and findings new building styles to use.

I've beaten him 4 or 5x already... I keep building and playing and having fun.

This was never a race to kill Yagluth, and I am in shock at people who are happy that they killed the last boss in "X" hours because to me you missed the whole point of the game.

Oh yeah, make sure me and my mates have enough supplies for up coming updates.

hopefully not die a lot like i did to all the new fulings running around at night haha

For me, first time I landed on Plains I got stung by Deathsquito. One hit kill with my Troll Leather armor set lol.

I'm building up my food stocks, making and upgrading some weapons, tweaking my main base a little and sailing around exploring other areas. Building up my stocks of metal. I've wandered around Ashland and even mined some Flametal for "just in case". Hwope I still have them after the update.

I also like staying awake at night at my base watching the brawls between skeletons, Greydwarfs and fulings with boar thrown into the mix. Then go collect the remains afterwards.

I saw a Lox and a troll duke it out. Lox won but, wow! What a fight it was! I didn't know who to cheer on...wish I had popcorn at the time.

I especially like wandering the Plains and taking out the deathquitos and fulings (can't stand those little boogers with legs). Also, going out and picking fights with Trolls.

First I did a second playthrough with the same character to work up skills.

Next I did a no death playthrough with a fresh new character.

I have started numerous worlds and characters since just to explore new worlds, finally found a maypole in a decent place for a base.

I enjoy trying different strategies in terms of base placement and world/character development. Fun game. 900+hrs
