Not really, lots of turds like you complain that the games too hard. Also yes fighting a group of enemies and being attacked by a random deathsquito does happen but literally only takes one parry. Also if you're fighting groups of Fuling (most common around deathsquitos) you're going to be wearing decent armor and have good food by this point so they literally become irrelevant in combat.

People go into biomes when they're not ready, and pay the price. With a decent shield you can stand and take the deathbug hit and one-shot them. Hell, I saw a graydwarf kill a deathbug with a thrown rock. They're howitzers packaged in eggshells.

I guess some people have a hard time if they have their sound off to listen to music, which at that point they deserve to get stung.

Then you have the others that can’t seem to click one time. Blocking isn’t needed, and is more dangerous, because it requires better timing than just swinging your weapon and being done with it.

Wait people struggle with deathsquitos? I mean sure the first one I came across killed me, the second time killed it before it even hit me. Parry works wonders, so do arrows.

Deathsquitoes? They almost always die in a single hit and if you're paying attention you can hit them from range with a bow. If they get close you can dodge their attacks fairly easily, block and kill them with one hit after they attack, or hit them when they approach you if you have decent timing. The only people who have a hard time are people who haven't geared up enough and aren't familiar with them. After you see these little devils a few times they become rather easy even if your gear isn't good enough.

Deathsquitoes are the stealth trolls that creep up on you while blissfully mining out in the Black Forest with a big fat grin on one's face.

Hence why full Troll armor gives a bonus to stealth.

If you have the right gear and eating the right food, deathsquitos are just flying greylings. You can punch them to death for giggles if you want. The true terror of the plains are 2-star fulings. Even in fully upgraded wolf armour/silver shield they can punch through your block and take 90% of your health away. The same git killed me several times today :)

i fought about 7 fulings at once. one was three star, one was two. the rest were normal bastards. two deathsquitoes came out of nowhere and attacked me. i still won. ♥♥♥♥♥ i wouldn't say anything if i didn't have experience

I suspect it's mostly from folks sailing past plains early on (that's still terrifying om my third playthrough lol)

Some people don't fully understand how to use the shield / block timing as well. I think I was easily 50 hours into the game before I found out that timing your blocks was a thing, changed the game quite a bit from that point on. That and rolling out of the way of attacks - but I don't use it that much, mostly just on the stone golems in the mountains.
