games usually only increase when near full release.
cant say if that's the plan with this game, but i seen it happen across several EA titles that where about to finish.

If you like the game, then yes. There's no guarantee that it will be on GamePass forever.

If you want to one day run a dedicated server for friends or whatever, then definitely, since Steam is currently the only source for the dedicated server tool.

Just remember that this game is Early Access, so still in beta development. Things will change as time goes on.

No. It's in early access still and doesn't get consistent regular updates. It's a work in progress game thats being treated like a polished product ready for DLC

If modded content is accessible AND you're interested in use of modded content on your xbox version then you may not have to make considerations to get it here.

If it isnt accessible on xbox AND you're interested in modded content then perhaps consider getting here as well.

As for the "price may go up" warning, not always do EA games follow that model of consideration. There are games citable that entered EA, added dlc's and still dropped in price and steeper sale discount points as time went on before(and after too) exiting EA.

None of us here though are devs nor apart of this game's marketing team so we cannot tell you accurately the likelihood of that concern.

Also, I would argue there are more people playing this on steam and any other platform but most play don't tend to play via servers and those that do password protect and other filters due to the nature of the game as you may know, BUT arguably there are more server playing folks via this platform than xbox too so if server play with others is a factor for you then that's something else still yet to consider.

Ultimately my suggestion is for you to base your purchase decision on your wants/needs more and not so much on any sense of urgency groomed marketing worries.

If you enjoy the game enough and plan to play it more in the future I'd say get it on Steam since the gamepass will most likely not have this game included anymore after a while since that's how their system works.
