Yea just loaded the game while another steam account was logged in and it set my world back 3 months on old world file. How cant this work in reverse probably needed to crash the game.

No, like one playing session we update our roof to the shingle roof, make our base nice looking, do a bunch of other things, kill a boss, etc. quit game and come back to our characters still having the items we had from last session in our inventory, but the progress of updating the roof, killing a boss etc is reset back to before we updated the roof to the shingle roof.

Oh you are refering to the "World Destruction" issue... To avoid that, you need to avoid playing with different account on that pc and make sure you keep playing on the same device with the same account and character. Otherwise, you need to save your world files to a different location (usb for example or another file) and copy-paste them back in the Valheim file on worlds when you login with different account or perhaps from a different device.

P.S I don't trust Steam cloud saves, work with backups on each logout and you'll be fine, better be safe than sorry

Not sure what exactly you are describing. Are you referenceing the damage wood takes when exposed to rain?

are you talking about it getting destroyed from having the roof to tall?
