When spiders are added to the mistlands
So ive been thinking perhaps a bit too much about this so bear with me.
When these mobs eventually get added please could you not give them an idle animation.
This would make them much more terrifying.
basically every spider in every videogame ever have these crazy idle animations where their legs are flailing around, they're bouncing up and down, casually wandering around.
A spiders thing is that it is 100% still 99% of the time, waiting. when it sees you then it should come running, but it should see you first before you see it. or detect you by vibrations or whatever.
When you look at the mistlands there are so many places even in plain sight that if a spider, even a BIG spider like 5m across if it was perfectly still legs close to the body, you wouldnt see that until it was too late.
Arachnophobia is the number 1 fear in the world, the ambience that the mistlands provides right now (even as it is now with NOTHING IN IT) is chilling by itself.
now imagine giant spider mobs, that make no sound apart from the thud of their feet touching the ground when running, they arent crying out with a sound clip every couple of seconds, they arent wandering around (at least not too much) and they arent animated to an over the top degree. they are on the sides of trees, in hollowed out trees, under tree roots. SILENTLY, MOTIONLESSLY waiting.
I would ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ my pants and it would be genuinely ... GENUINELY terrifying and memorable to enter the mistlands, a real heart grabber..

You definitely get the horror of spiders there. Damn things are either "is it dead?" motionless or practically teleporting.

My worry about Mistlands is, following the biome difficulty progression, that whatever creatures they introduce, will be worse than the fulings. Which scares and excites me...
