Base and all objects are gone......
Just loaded my game up, and everything is gone. My entire base, all of the trees, rocks, animals, etc. I checked the map and am in the right marker location. I kept walking and literally everything disappeared.

I use a backup service to make copies of all my save files (and documents and such) every 24 hours. I'd recommend something similar.

Sounds like you did not back up your save file, and also may have switched profiles on your machine ... guessing

I didn't back up my save no. But I wasn't switching profiles on my comp. Didn't even turn the computer off, as I was playing a couple hours in the morning today.

Had the same issue & followed some instructions for recovery, but nothing worked. Lost some really good builds and good items :(
