Lox Saddle should have inventory space
I love the idea of using the Lox for transport of metals. At the moment this doesn't work (solo anyway). You can't overload your character with metals and also hop on and off to defend your Lox. In MP you could have a friend run defense while you carry a full load of metals.
If there was a 2x2 inventory (or even 2x3 please) then I could use my pet beast to transport materials over long distances.
Side note: I'd also love a server setting to disable portals entirely and force slowed-down playing with a focus on the journey.

Don't hold your breath, these devs are incapable of implementing a simple paper doll for equipped armor and weapons. Diablo had this feature in 1997 but its too advanced for them to put into valheim lol

Instead of more inventory for the player, Saddled lox could have a storage space, just like the karv: 2 to 4 slot to be filled at will.

Tbh...we just need to be able to craft a satchel for at leas another line of inventory space or purchase from merchant.

If you stop trying to move the lox in presence of enemies the lox will attack said enemies. And I believe you can remove portals by typing /no portal in chat command

I was thinking more along the lines of an actual wagon or wain. More inventory space than the long boat and able to go up steeper slopes than a cart.What would make a bit more sense would be to hook 2 - 4 lox up as a team to pull a wagon......one lox should be able to pull the cart for sure...

It should, Riding is a gimmick at best unless maybe in the future we can ride something that flies.

i agree and think the lox should be able to attack with the saddle on and you the player should be able to get them to follow and stay, like wolves. Cows IRL are smarter than most would think, cant imagine lox being very dumb. except with their calves... omg worst animal parents ever.

i have ridden on my lox while carrying over 300 pieces of metal with a total weight of over 1000 so OP i believe you are doing something wrong.

i usually use some type of weapons that i have in inventory. those work against most enemies.
throwing stuff on the ground removes the overburdened status.
