hah There is always a bigger one I guess, one could go mad with seed possibilities, in my first game the starting Island was way bigger than I expected, but then my pc was down yesterday, so started a new map on my previous pc, and I liked the fact this seed includes plains with the Island

For reference, I have only seen one other Island on a utube Lets play, and that was tiny by comparison. Also tbf, the op had not fully explored the Island yet (I think)

That is crazy, the Vikings will need to come up with some kind of 10th dimension railway system, perhaps a few mining carts in a train, pulled by a Lox or two !?

Oh, since we're sharing, my first seed was: duzpmJcTP8

Turned out to have two Maypoles, a nearby Trader, and every boss on the first (quite large) island (some narrow channel swimming required).

My favourite feature of it, though, is the isolated 200 metre x 40 metre island that is 95% Plain, and 5% Dark Forest, where careful placement of torches prevents all spawning and allows growth of flax and barley without risk of attack. (That did require some sailing.)

I checked it,(duzpmJcTP8)I saw all bosses on the main island and NO swimming was required. Also the island practically goes all the way north and south! Pretty amazing seed to be honest.

Good tip, I should have tried that, set in my ways, wasting a bit of ink and paper, doh !!

It is a capital J, the bit of coastline matches Martins screenshot my end, in case anyone else wonders in the future :)

What? Looks normal sized to me. Most of my starter islands have been bigger. My current one is probably like 3 times that size.

Just as a general tip, if there's any doubt you could copy/paste to make sure you get it exact.

That's usefull, but if you really want to beat the game and be like ''OMG, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DID IT'', just create a world without a certain seed, its feels much better.

But what if your random seed was super easy?

This map has the wildest starting continent I've seen, and I've explored like 20 main continents fully

Yeh I don't like using the map gen thing i find it ruins the fun. I prefer to explore the islands myself.

You can use the online Valheim Map generator to see your map, or to find interesting seeds for your next game.
