I don't think the spawns have ever been changed for regular seekers. Soldiers and gjall spawn more infrequently since the first balance patch. Seeker spawns are limited to pairs during the day and one-star levels. During the night as many as 6 can spawn with full level range. Don't go out during the night.

Gjall had some of their blunt damage changed to fire damage. They are less destructive to stone and marble buildings.

I arrived in the Mistlands after the change so all I know is how it is now. I love the place when I'm not dying and spending 3 hours getting back to a corpse that gjall, a 1 star seeker and another seeker are hovering over with gjall spewing ticks like popcorn. I hate think what it was like before the change but we ran into a 1 star soldier in a dungeon and I said, "run!". Our only hope was that step at the entrance soldiers can't get over. Seekers though, damn their AI they are smart at times.

Yes that step has basically saved me in dungeons.
