This game keeps messing with my laptop battery
When playing Valheim for somewhere half an hour, my laptop's charging stops and it becomes a nuisance to play. The only solution I found is to unplug the charger from the socket and plug it back again.
What confuses me the most is that when playing much more demanding games set on highest graphics, the charging never gets interrupted. I have to repeat the process quite often, and the temperatures barely reach 70 Celsius when playing.

If the problem only affects a specific series of laptops, you should report it to the manufacturer. Nobody else can fix it.

Common culprits include a faulty motherboard, damaged charging circuits, and malfunctioning battery sensors. Your particular make and model of laptop will likely have its own unique issues, and a seasoned tech support operator will have seen all of them.looks like it's a common issue between MSI GF75 laptops and this game, either it's my laptop's or the game's software that fails to communicate with each other, not faulty parts.
So you might want to talk to a tech support person about your laptop. a game will only drain the power as you use the laptop. not stop it from charging.
Another interesting notice, when I play in single player the problem doesn't occur. I am willing to send all of the data to the dev team, but only if they're going to help with the problem.

Have you contacted the manufacturer's technical support? This sounds like a problem with your equipment, which this unoptimized early-access title is somehow bringing to light, rather than it being somehow the Valheim developers' fault that your notebook is acting up.

Is it a thermal issue, or something else?if it was a thermal issue then my laptop would melt when playing Metro Exodus or RDR2.
