Water Freaking out?

Sometimes the water just TOWERS over the shore, or drains back super far..

Is the water suppose to be all messed up like this?
Some sorta tenth world lore i dont know about?

It makes building on small islands excruciating because you can't raise the land high enough to settle on top of, you need additional supports to raise your house above the waves. Would love to see the water touched up in a future ocean and storms update.

I don't know if Unity would allow to customize the height of the tidal range depending on the location (to add variety and safer places).

Range reached 14 meters in 2015 in Normandy, and is regularly above 10 meters in several places in Alaska (deep inside fjords, mainly). No wonder it can be that huge on a primeval fantasy world.
