another question, vulkan or normal? i had much problem with vulkan (rx 580 8gb)

I do use the manual save, the last few get effected as well. both in mod and vanilla mode. Switched between cloud and local same issue. Also both Vulkan and normal. Haven't tried all the combinations of those options tho. Will try the F2 and see but my pc is high end so should be fine. Will try turning off "Distant Shadowing and will post if that helps"

Press F2 and it'll tell you how many instances are present wherever you're standing. Areas with higher instance numbers require more processing power, and can cause lag in some rigs.

Doesn't help your lag problem, but could tell you what areas to avoid for now.

I turned off "Distant Shadows" in the graphics settings and my performance was exponentially better. Try it and go to an area that gives you lag and see if that helps.

This from cloud saving. I go through it to. It recently costed me my life cause of mistimed parry due to frame rate or lag from Cloud Save, saw the lag come in and my block not come in, I know the soldier seeker got me, I just dev commanded myself back to myself and resetted.

firstly there IS a manual save ..so use it!
Secondly are you SP or MP, modded on vanilla?
