food feedback from experienced players?

im currently farming food to start spending more time grinding resources in mistlands but some 1 star or above will nuke almost + 90% of my health pool

so im looking at my current list of available recipes but it looks like lox pie for hp, blood pudding for stam and another hp food would be ideal to deal with health pool damage inflation ? or should i look for two foods with more stamina ? im currently doing ok-ish with 150+ hp but the more long lasting food buffs is a good change regardless

and im guessing my only option to farm chicken meat is killing Yag ?

why are you grinding resources in the mistlands without killing yagluth, go kill him first

because i dont like the aesthetics of zergs in valheim and it would unlock zerg raids if i did
but im slowly caving in to working through that pain when i seem to have no other option if i want chicken, whisplight and its whisp equivalent sword for clearing all the excessive mist

anyways, lox pie, chicken & blood pudding ?

Honestly, we used cooked chicken, lox pie, and bread until we got the ingredients for Mistlands recipes in sufficient quantities to use them exclusively. We sometimes substituted fish wraps for chicken when we were doing harder stuff like our first Infested mine. Once you get ingredients, honey glazed chicken, misthare Supreme, and salad (or omelet) are your friends.

You’ll want honey glazed chicken, which requires a tier 6 cauldron as cooked chicken is not very good

why bread ? because you didnt feel like needing more for damage mitigation or just because you didnt have enough mats ?

As i entered first mistlands i used 2hp (lox pie, wolf skewer) and 1stamina (bread), worked well.
Now with mistlands done the food mix is 2hp (misthare deluxe, honey glazed chicken/meat platter) and 1stamina (fish and bread/omelette). If i go magician its 3eitr foods.

If you absolutely refuse to kill yagluth you could go for fish wraps as second HP food prior to mistlands.

Misthares and seeker meat also unlock 2 high HP recipes.

The Seeker raids are easy. They don't include soldiers, just seeker and the weak broodlings. You're trying to do Mistlands w/o a Wisplight because you are terrified for no good reason.

i dont think theyre difficult though, theyre difficult to blend in visually
i want to enjoy killing and i dont feel that with something like blizzard copy material from starcraft in a game like valheim

its just a matter of aesthetics of the game but the game doesnt seem to leave me much choise, it would obviously leave me neglecting chicken recipes, weapons and more and just feeling lethargic coming back to the game with an excessive an nuisance whilst just simply being visually impaired just for the sake of it
