use the flat item stand and most food and the tankard will go onto it.
I am tempted to put some sort of severed head onto the fish. But the visual pun may be too much. (its a pike!).

it works with most stuff, weapons, armor, all kinds of crap can be put on a table or flat surface with them.

Kind of a mixed bag in my opinion.

On the plus side, you have the trophies. They even drop you a silly line () from time to time.

But apart from the angler- and pufferfish the variety of fish really doesn't have much of a purpose right now.

Another issue is that the amount of bait you get from crafting was reduced by half (from 40 to 20) which can be a potential bottleneck due to the relative rarity of some of the required trophies like the serpent trophy. Making tuna ocean-biome exclusive further adds to that problem.

Also, you get fishing xp for reeling in meters.
But the easiest and most reliable ways to catch even high tier fish require you to actually not reel in at all.

The new thrashing the fish do that like triples stamina cost when reeling needs to have a much more obvious tell. Like we need a sound effect and a more noticeable visual.

fish wraps and fish n' bread is good foods but without any changes to fishing rarities or benefits in leveling it up, its pretty pointless besides as far as cooking goes


would be nice if it made any differences like level 20-40-60-80-100
20% / 40% / 60% / 80% / 100% chance of not losing your bait
20% / 40% / 60% / 80% / 100% chance of catching higher level fish
20% / 40% / 60% / 80% / 100% less stamina consumed from throwing/reeling in

or at least something idk ?
and why not working with some sort of synnergetic bonus together with a cooking profession which scaled with providing longer food buff duration and conjured x additional meals depending on level

it seems pretty flat for now but ill play around with it a bit more once ive finally fond my 2 star wolf

how do you set down food on the table like that ? is it the same as the tankard ?
