Day/Night Length Dev's please consider *Fingers Crossed*

Not sure if the devs read these but fingers crossed they do. First I love the game! It's a great challenge and I play solo. For me its one of my favorite all time games. So thank you.

I have one request ... just wish the length of the day and night were just a bit longer. I am not talking double, but wouldn't be opposed to it.

I feel like by the time a rest up, eat up, walk to where I want to go, ( especially in the mistlands) start exploring around and gathering/fighting the sun is already setting or my rested bonus is long gone so back to my base or to rest.

-Yes I have full rested bonus
-Yes I eat all the right food etc
-Yes I have all the right equipment
-Yes 2 star mobs solo at night in the Mistlands during a thunderstorm really gets your blood pumping! So cheers to that!

OK maybe a portable tent/camp would be a cool thing to have.. just to chill out at for a few minutes to rest up. * one can hope*

Looking forward to more upcoming Valheim stuff!

Thanks!

If you're out of rested bonus, wouldn't lengthening the day/night exacerbate that?

Wood is in very short supply in Mistlands, but fortunately there are many places you can make a quick temporary camp. Skulls and even rib cages provide shelter, as do the large helmets. Just drop a fire and a bed, and you're good.

The easiest way I've found to make a quick shelter if you're not near one of those is just to punch a hole in the closest rock. Make it deep enough for a bed and flatten the bottom with the hoe. Make it a bit deeper if it's raining to put the fire in the entrance, or just put it outside if it's not raining.

The rest of the biomes are really not a problem. It takes 5 rock and less than 40 wood to make a camp.

you already have a portable tent. in the form of a stargate you can carry around in your pockect to dial back home when night falls.

also rested bonus lasts 23 minutes if done right. a day in valheim lasts 21 minutes. a night is 9 minutes. this is without seasonal bonus time items. otherwise its 25 minutes.

thats long enough i would say.

That assume you want to play with a pocket portal.

You only get around 11 minutes if you sleep in a rock, but, fortunately you can go to bed very early in this game. :-)
