Turn off Fuling spawns/attacks outside of the plains
I have a world setup where a bunch of friends are all playing on their own island and under different levels of game progression. I recently beat the final boss and now Fulings are showing up at everyones towns. One group of friends who only just started playing and have troll and bronze armor are getting fulings spawning near their town and destroying them. There's no plains on their island.
Is there a way to turn off these spawns in my world? If it helps, I have this setup as a dedicated server.

This is a really bad game design choice. We had to restart our server because some progressed faster and others didn't. We're now progressing together, but the players with more time on their hand are just pretty much waiting for others to catch up.

It should probably be looked into, yeah. Seems to be a very solo oriented change, while also accommodating groups that progress together.

So when you beat the final boss the goblins should stop spawning. They start to spawn after Moder and continue until you kill the next boss.

Is that how it is supposed to work? If so, can't wait for the next boss

+1
I think boss kills should be recorded per player and the raids should account for that.

So once you kill Yagluth the final boss there will no longer be goblin spawns. Instead you only have to worry about skeletons, blobs, trolls, wolves and surtlings. So when you beat the final boss the goblins should stop spawning. They start to spawn after Moder and continue until you kill the next boss.

look up some video guides on youtube how to make bases that cant be raided. Sometimes digging around your base in such a way can make most stuff including trolls fall in the pit or not even be able to reach your base. Put some spikes and thats it. All that is available from the early stages of the game. Game needs creativity when creating a base and with focus on surviving. I mean all these builds we see on reddit etc are nice and cozy but its mostly used with cmds etc. Hopefully next server you guys make some pits for the raids to not be able to reach and enjoy this awesome game

You're missing the point. On a multi player server the entire world progresses on which bosses are killed. This means fresh players with no gear have to face the current toughest enemies in game with no access to armor, weapons or defenses. Or just murder them... then replace whatever got broken....
I agree this needs to be changed. A temporary band aid fix would be to only allow fulings to spawn in areas where the current characters who have progressed that far are currently in. This is easier said than done as the world seems to progress on which boss is killed and doesn't seem to have any correlation with the characters save.

Do you play multi player? Do you know that not everyone is always on at the same exact time? And with this issue, it forces newer players to wait until geared people are online. Not only that, it forces people to baby sit them because of a faulty game mechanic that the devs most likely didn't consider. You're missing the point. To add to this, it robs newer players of progression since they have no way to defend themselves and wind up getting hand outs from more experienced/progressed players on the server.
Defend it all you want but it is an issue.

Eh yes, I have finished the game (so far) and we were smart enough to carry Portal supplies with us everywhere. I'm shocked you never set up portals next to where they set up camp
But I also thinks it stupid you're not all in it together. If my mates joined late I'd just restarted with them

Doesn't sound like this is the way the game was intended to be played. It's not an MMO. The games difficulty scales and progresses depending on how many players are in a world and how many bosses have been beaten. The system works as intended.
Historically, Vikings worked together in clans. Everything about the game is geared toward playing *together* with a friend or two or ten. You can play solo on your own world, but it definitely hasn't been balanced for that (not yet at least).
