Odd, never had a problem with him. He showed up, said some things, and left. I haven't seen him in a long time.

you miss hugin when he is gone, he is one of the few things in this game that doesn't try to kill you or run away from you.

I agree... A simple checkbox saying "skip tutorial" would be great. My least favorite part of starting a new game is chasing down the damn bird to make it shut up.

On the flip side, I would LOVE the option to have Munin just kinda hang out at a specific location with the ability to visit him and hit E for random vikingly words of encouragement. (or dread.) And yes, "vikingly" is a word, in my head anyway.

Not a chance! He's told me to build a workbench at least a dozen times and even told me about building stuff from sticks and stones too many times to count. He heeps repeating the same things and won't leave.

Looks like its a bug then

The part that bothers me most is that he can block you, meaning you don't just pass through him when running. I have been trying to escape enemies several times and got hung up on him.

I wanted to turn him off but I can live with his appearances , but at least make him pass through.

There should be a option when you start a new char that you can skip all this stuff uu.

he has what, 5 total visits? Less if you don't try to leave meadows before ready?
Is it really that bad? I am all for skipping it, just seems very minimal.

23 total visits and IMO, there should be an option to turn it off...no need for it after the first or second playthrough

Five or even 23? I don't know, but he keeps following me around night or day saying "Hail Warrior" or similar and "I bear tidings" or just squawks. appears every few seconds or so following me when I travel.

...Munin? If you just get whatever message the bird brought he'll vanish.

Just smack him up when he shows up, he wont stop but atleast you'll get a satisfying plume of feathers as he wimpers. Seriously tho, yeah agree, wish there was a way to turn off the tutorial bird, luckily he'll soon show up far less as you will have learned the basics.
