While I recognize that you feel that to be the case, there are evidently many people who are not having these issues. Else there'd not be tens of thousand of people playing the game daily, you know.

yup and most people just play games with stutter and never say anything......

I think my system is well above required specs ......I actually just upgraded and everything else aside from P4 runs fine so ya.......I would love to see a video of you holding a steady framerate :steambored:

If your basing off of Framerates, as a EA game, I have a medium pc setup and if I dont tarraform, dig , flatten area along with small builds not huge ones. I have 40 to 60 fps.
I would guess it depends on what each player is doing with the building aspect. Only time I have any glitch or shudder is when game does its save and its sucks but im sure it will be fixed in time.

I mean saying the guy should replace his I5 is just laughable .......I had stutter with a R9 3900x and still get stutters with a R7 5800x so ya.....The game is awesome no doubt ......BUT it has issues under the hood still bottom line:steamhappy:

I dont build big builds or nothing like that I have only really taken existing stuff and repaired it as of yet so I can assure you it is not a building thing

This game has not improved 1% since launch. Not even 1%

The game is actually probably slightly laggier now than on launch day. And i have a way faster PC now. 12600k + gtx1080 + 16gb ddr4@3000mhz + 1tb NVME. Valheim was one of the first games i tested. (all my other games run flawlessly now, valheim still lags)

The game is horrible, it expected me to get 20 leather, each boar drops one leather.. i ran around for 3-4 hours so far and i dont think there are even 20 boar in the whole entire game

and keep in mind this is latest version im playing 2.08.1 or whatever

if you want to hit a block above or below? Guess what? You cant. Because this game is so bad that you cant aim up or down unless you use the bow. The third person aiming on the bow is the worst ive ever seen in gaming history

you enter a dungeon guess what? they are the size of a shoebox and the skeletons cant even climb the 6inch high entrance platform so they all just get stuck within 10 seconds of entering a dungeon. The hallways are 12 inches wide so all the skeletons just get stuck on eachother, stuck behind doors. Its cringeworthy

this game is lightyears past bad, i find it embarassing

and the archers pretty much cannot miss, a 2star archer can remove 70 HP in one shot. And keep in mind this game is WORK to maintain over 50 health. and archers can fire a new arrow faster than melee classes can swing

oh and if you are fully geared with 3 food items. YOu literally have like 6 inventory slots and thats it. And just sneezing in this game fills your bag to full

i think this game is an experiment to see just how forgiving gamers are toward terrible games

Game runs alright until you build a ton of stuff, A server with 7+ people and everyone in 1 area and big buildings, yeah fps drops, used like 5-10% of my 6800xt, and Vulkan has a memory leak and uses more and more vram until it lags so bad or crashes but does perform slightly better for a while.

I got a dual cpu 16 core Xeon server, I host 2 Valhiem servers, Without the compression mod, the servers run like crap with a lot of stuff built, sorta like internet lag but the game has a hard limit and with 7+ people running around that limit is hit fast, none of the so called fixes fixes anything other than the compression mod, adds a little bit more cpu load but worth it.

Game is far from perfect, but with a few people it should be alright for the most part, I recommend not building so close to each other for the best fps anyway.

What are the 15% that it doesn't?

Runs ok for me - except for the slight stutter when the game saves. I usually get 110/120 fps, but honestly I should be able to get more. My config gets me steady 144 on more graphically demanding games.

Maybe try to play with some settings.

My game was quite laggy when I first got this game, other than reducing effects in the graphics menu this Nexus mod made a Massive difference, basically disables shadow and reflection effects and frees up your processor, its very useful if you have a Potato for a computer.

There are many 'Must Have' mods that really should be apart of the main game settings.
