Depends. Do you find Minecraft grindy?

The grind is only a bad as your let it be imo. With proper planning, logistics and tactics, it's not bad at all.

I find this to be one of the lesser grindy survival games. There's obviously a lot of farming to do for mats, it's the travel I would bring as a heads up point. Much like Wind Waker, the primary mode of transportation is sailing and that can take up a lot of time if you aren't into that. The entire map is comprised of islands with different biomes. I love the game and I highly recommend it to anyone. The coolest feature is that you can bring your toon and any items they have to other servers. So I have a world just for resources and I can bring them back to my main world to drop them off. Wonderful mechanic.

Not really, but it became less challenging over time

Well you can speedrun it by yourself with less grind but i dont think that it would make for a very interesting game. If you are not into grinding just do it with few friends and it goes much faster.

since i played genshin impact, i don't really like doing grinding anymore because doing it sometimes have little to no reward at all

If you disagree with that statement then you probably will be bored. The people who seem to have the most fun don't try to rush. Are you goal oriented, or do you like hanging out in pretty scenery and doing some violence now and then? Also building defensible bases of various sizes.

Mods also exist on Nexus. You can tweak just about any number you want with Valheim+.

Personally, I find the game relaxing. The scenery is pretty. Getting my base to look the way I want is satisfying too, once you get the smoke mechanics figured out. If you're stuck indoors this is one way to get your virtual nature fix.

That is also a problem, i don't have a friend who plays Valheim

Well this has the same level of grind to progression I'd say.

With the added bonus that it has a longer burn, since the best tier isnt as easy to obtain as diamond is.

As someone mentioned above travel can take a while, but it's nothing worse than walking two thousand blocks in minecraft

I disagree, I think the less you research on this game the more fun you will have. It's about discovery and trial and error, and preparation.

Kinda like what Midnightbyte said... minecraft-ish, but with a viking flavor. It has skills and equipment/food upgrades which sorta feels like skyrim-ish... without the endless questlog.. It's definitely more challenging than that game. It can seem a little grindy in spots, but I've had so much fun just building and exploring that the grind doesn't bug me. Every game like these has some bottlenecks in them... just have to choose what kind of grind you find acceptable. If you are focused on min/max instead of just what you want to get done then it will seem tedious.

I would say buy it it is not too much grind and it is fun still with friend. Best 20€ what i have ever spent

And it is great game

Its the same grind as any other survivalcraft type game, that being said you can make decent progress in a good amount of time. Other than that the game is fun as hell with great mechanics, combat, etc.
