Dig a pit- put them in it. Harpoon, shield, stagbreaker...doesn't matter just put them into it.

I find the greydwarfs unpleasant because you have to be constantly killing them, and it's so easy. They throw a stone; you whack them back and send them flying twenty meters, dead. It's reminiscent of student riots in certain less fortunate countries. Greydwarfs also remind me of Ambrose Bierce's famous definition of aboriginal people in the Devil's Dictionary: "Persons of little worth found cumbering the surface of a newly discovered country. They soon cease to cumber; they fertilise." (In Valheim, harvesting their eyeballs for portals is a peculiarly gross touch.)

Resin is annoying item drop from the Greydwarfs(Any Type) and less craftable resources for Resin. Have 380 Resin and all I can make out of is torches, fill torch stands, and few items.

What about crafting explosives with Resin, or using Resin for traps since 380 Resin my character has and I keep getting too much Resin and can't split the Resin because Greydwarfs will drop no matter what and Resin.

I do that too. It's just fun to kill them, and there are far more of them than beech tree saplings.

Devs, please make a craftable armor that is on fire to help with this and cold/wet effects!

Used to despise them too, but now my char is more powerful and those poor wretches explode from being looked at mean. First time I ran into a patch of Black Forest after spending way too much time in a swamp I was actually glad to see them.
Now I'm in the plains and when I can I build bases at the edge of Black Forest biomes
to benefit from the interbiome hostilities. Lastly I really appreciate that they keep those
even more annoying skeletons in check in the meadows.

As I have intentionally held back my progress in the game (160 game days and haven't called up Eikthyr yet) it is quite fulfilling to fist punch/bludgeon/arrow♥♥♥♥♥♥♥spear/etc the assorted greys into oblivion.

That's true. but still, 1 minute your minding your own business mining, the next every 10 seconds one of em attacks you again and again and again.

Yea, they are annoying as hell.
You are trying to sleep - they are near.
You are mining ore - they are near.
You are building your base? Get a rock in your face.
You have a base in the middle of water, but still in the meadows? They spawn in the water, swim to your bace and start to throw rocks (WHAT?! how?!) You start to shoot arrows at these bastards, but then a bug occures and one of them becomes untargetable - you cannnot hit him. So you run over to the shore and wait for him to come to you.
I hope they will buff fire`s repeling range or make that if you have more than ~30 armor, they run away from you.

I've killed em, and at least when you kill a Fulling you get SOME sort of accomplishment feeling, the only thing you get from killing greydwarf is mental xen and relaxation.

My main char is high enough geared that it takes a lot for them to really do any damage, so I just ignore them as they run around and occasionally bop me. I'm pretty fond of them, I even yell at them to get out of the way of falling trees lol

Reminds me of when I had hyper kids to care for!

Just wait till they get replaced by Fuling once you reach the plains. You'll be missing your angry groot buddies.
