are you using any mod software like thunderstore or vortex ? at least vortex seem to be problem free and installs mods and bepnidex effortlessly with auto updates just fine

yes i am using thunderstore. i am using it for a year now and the issue is new.
also i reinstalled the game and bepinex after i cleared thunderstore's cache.
