just add the console commands to your server. -Console in the start up follow this up by pressing F5 and enable the cheats, if you feel you are forced to use cheats. On top of that playing with players allows it to become easy enough in my opinion in order to retrieve lost gear. I had to escort a friend 3 times to their body to ensure we were able to retrieve their stuff from the Mistlands. Of course in the end your choices are your own and I hope you find a solution to this problem!
