Its a game thats perfectly fine to play by yourself, its not like an MMO where you need an active player base to support an economy.

I don't know why it matters if its dead or bustling. If you enjoy it play it if not play something else. I enjoy it therefore I play it.

Player drop does not equal "dead", especially on a game where player count means absolutely nothing overall (not an open world MMORPG)

Player count dropped (probably) since many people have finished all the current content and are just waiting for the next big content update and/or waiting for full release of the game, before coming back.

The numbers will go back up once a major update drops, but again, that doesn't actually matter for this kind of game (solo play or coop with friends 1-10 players)
