Steam Summer Sale starts 29th of June, Valheim seems to have gone on sale for every other seasonal sale so it's a good bet it will then too.

Tends to go on sale several times a year. According to a quick search on Google, the next major Steam sale that Valheim would likely be a part of is the summer sale which is slated for June 29th to July 13th.

Its only 20 bucks and the most its ever been on sale for is like 6 bucks off. If it interests you just buy it. If you absolutely hate it steam has a good return policy.
