Items no longer despawning?
I have had stuff strewn around for ages, far from any workbench and not disappearing. If intentional, this is a welcome change. I never liked that mechanic in the first place. Or is it a "current_time > dropped_time + 3600" type of bug? Are there other entities that prevent nearby items from despawning?

I've never had anything despawn anywhere in the world. I'll be running around through a forest I haven't been in for in-game months and stuff I dropped is still just sitting there. Personally not aware of any despawning mechanic, if it exists I haven't noticed.

Around your base or out in the world? I throw mine in the water, still takes a few in game days to vanish. Weird if no workbench near by
