It's very doable, just always make sure you are fully geared and using the best food you have available to you when doing bosses. I honestly prefer playing this game solo.

I believe enemies scale with the amount of players, so yeah, it's completely possible. Most of my time is solo, it's just that having a decent base takes longer to build solo.

Yes, very possible. But you might want to read a guide or two if you run into frustrations, especially concerning bosses, and the swamp.

I've defeated all of the current bosses, twice, playing solo. No mods, no console commands. Legit playthrough vanilla. I've also played with others and found I prefer solo.

i think the main considerations for playing solo are to just be prepared and be ready to run away if you're gonna die. the only really tedious part imo (tho others love this aspect) is building a base. if you're not gonna mod it makes sense to make your first bases near where you're gonna be extracting resources in order to gear up in a reasonable time.

also, unless you know what you're doing, it's not typically a good idea to run around at night, especially if it's raining. having no stamina is really problematic in tough fights. mostly the game is easy once you get the hang of it.

my first playthrough was solo. its not bad solo. you good!
