I went all over looking for onion seeds and finally found them. It took a few days because I had to go to a new continent to find them. Nevertheless, took seeds back to base, planted the seeds and the next day they were gone. Like I never went through hell and back to find the damn seeds. Is this a glitch? I planted the onion seeds next to my carrots and turnips. Carrots and turnips are still there. WTF.
