Dev compensation
Just a thought here, but Valheim was a huge hit for the parent company and sold over 8 million copies. I really hope that the devs got their fair share of swag from this work.
I'm sorry, but I just hate it when good work has been done by the "little" people and they don't even get SOMETHING besides a tap on the should and a moist handshake.
Does anyone know if they got at least a good bonus?

The game was 20 USD, Steam took 25%, publisher took at most 40%, the Swedish government took another 50%, let's go ahead and dock another 20% for business fees in Sweden, and there were 5 developers originally as far as I remember
8 000 000 * 20 * 0.75 * 0.60 * 0.50 / 5 = 5 760 000 USD per employee
Given that the devs have taken 2 months of vacation this year and it's not even holidays yet and they purchased a horse and donated it I'm going to guess that they got a decent amount of lunch money, yes
That sounds good...thanks for the info :)
If I may ask: How did you find out about the horse?
(I mean I can find out via google NOW that i know about it but still...)

Pretty sure if you "follow" them on the store page it will put the new stuff in your activity feed to read or check it in Library page.
