It's not. It's a sandbox game, the entire point is to grind for resources to build and let you have what you need to kill the bosses, then when youve killed the bosses you just focus on building more and more and grinding more and more. This is not an RPG or an MMO.

Well, everyone has strong opinions on this topic but if you could teleport with ores the game would become 10 times smaller and you'd blow through the already limited content in record time.

The devs want you to sail and sail more than once to each location. Vikings sail their longboats, it is what they do. With ore teleports you would sail to one biome each, drop a portal there and then be done with sailing for the rest of the game.

I get it though, it's not convenient is it? But hey, if everything was super convenient then you wouldn't remember any of it. No stories would be made.

bull. conan exiles is also a sand box and it has teleporting. you can teleport with your entire inventory.

if devs wanted people to travel they wouldnt have put portals in. they did because they knew people were going to feel that travel time is tedious. the limitation is pointless.

ive already put the mod in. thank goodness for QoL mods.

This has been addressed by Iron Gate, and debated by the community into the next disjecta. Iron Gate will not allow or consider the teleportation of ore.

Theres a mod for it.

Because it forces you to actually travel more than once and makes metal a more precious resource rather than trivial like wood, and puts emphasis on building a permanent base in harder biomes as part of the game’s natural progression.

If you hate it that much, just mod it out.

You can share resources through saves by what you carry.
Log out then log into another world you use for storage, drop off ore.
teleport where you want to go and "world hop" again.

No mods needed.. also think there is a console command for it.

Personally I like the logistics it creates by being unable to teleport it but to each their own, not everyone has the time I do to play games.
