You can find servers wanting or welcoming players quite easily through sites such as trackyservers. My community does currently host an additional Valheim and Minecraft server on the side of our main establishment in Mount & Blade: Warband. They will be kept alive for the forseeable future, but aren't very popular/used, but anyone is really free to be on them.

We do have a password for the Valheim server, since it's not modded with additional security, unlike our MC server where we have a basic grief prevention plugin, but it's easily found on our website under servers. https://nwrp.eu

My mom, Odin bless her, is 81 years old, and she still plays games! Well, she will again, once her hand is healed. She's currently playing the first "Horizon" title, forgot what it was.

She started out in story mode, but that eventually was too easy for her, so she upped it to easy.

Probably not. Most people don't want their server overrun by cheaters and griefers.

I would suggest to look in the "Looking for Group" subforum. There are always admins there looking for people to play with.

If you are the host of the server you‘ll need to be online. Other option is to rent a server that is always online.
