Only one question left, can i invite someone over to my world and he starts with nothing or if i want to play with someone i need to start over?

I play both single and multiplayer. Both methods can be fun depending mostly on if you are an introvert or an extrovert.

SO much more enjoyable with more people.

Its very enjoyable with other players and can get kind of lonely by yourself but by all means the game is playable and fun alone, you dont need someone else its just more fun with someone else.

Yes its made for solo or coop. It scales enemy health if in coop I believe. I mainly play solo and beat the first two bosses easy within a week of first playing.

If somethings too hard, just go back to base and focus on upgrades and leveling up. That way you can be over prepared and it will be easy. Play at your own pace.

It's a whole lot of game for $14. You can progress at your own speed. You can have
multiple worlds and characters and take any character into any world. You can go crazy
building elaborate bases and farms or be a hunter and live off the land. The maps are
huge. You've got boats to sail and transport stuff. All kinds of weapons with upgrades
and crafting/mining/cooking. Even fishing but you have to find a fish pole and the merchant to buy bait.
Lots to do. No timeline or deadlines. Do more or less whatever you want that doesn't
get you killed.

1881 solo hours and clearly loving it :-)

I played through the first five bosses (pre mistlands patch) solo and enjoyed every minute of it. Well, I didn't enjoy finding my corpse, but that serves me right for dying like a noob.

I often find it more fun solo than with friends.

Solo play means, you can do whatever it is YOU wanna do, no people forcing you to play their way, no one rushing ahead, or people wanting a hundred hours to prepare for something while you actually want to move on.

Solo vs multiplayer for this game is really just how many people are playing. The same stuff happens, the same stuff needs to be done. Multiplayer is cool because you can have other people helping, but solo is cool because you don't have to deal with other people... "helping".

It's very zen when you play singleplayer. Kinda like Minecraft. Building your own house and establishing a base is very nice. You don't need other people to play with, but it does make the experience more enjoyable.

The game can be played completely solo.

If you choose to play online, you can set a password to keep random people out.

In my few hundred hours, I maybe have an hour of Multiplayer.

The game is fantastic Solo.

Its very much like minecraft. Massive world, you decide if you want to open your world to other players or go solo, set a password for friends, you can build a ton and fight bosses. Some say its lonely to play without others but i kinda like it, pretty meditative to just build and chop trees. And yes you can beat the game solo if you want to.

+1 for solo. Being able to reinvent oneself and artificially increase the difficulty (by making choices usually inappropriate for the type of environment you're in) is fantastic. Been having a heck of a blast. Much to my surprise, multiplayer takes a lot away from the feeling of exploration and, worse yet, discovery. Very much to my surprise, I found solo much more rewarding. 630 hours in and I still cannot stop. Incredible value for 13.99 €.

once u get the hang of it, its great. the only downside is death/running to get stuff from body.

There is a big inbalance issue with that whole system that i won't get into explaining and why it doesnt work well in this game.
Other then that, great !
