Oh, lol. Yeah that should be easily possible since the text on screen mechanic already exists, though I don't know how or if it even needs modding - I mostly play solo.

Those aren't custom announcements. Those are raid events, where the game will send a group of monsters to attack the player for a period of time. The potential raid type is based on defeating certain enemies and bosses.

Probably using a mod if you actually mean custom raids and not the default ones that are part of the game.

The Custom Raids mod also allows you to edit default raids. Or remove raids entirely. Or increase the frequency of raids. It's pretty versatile.
