This Game Seems Dead
I last played this game back in March last year. I decided to check out to see if there have been any real major updates added, new biomes, enemies and etc etc.
From what I have seen, very little besides cosmetics has been added and new stuff is being promised yet they have yet to implement what they promised before. I understand that they are a small team but I don't see how this can be used as an excuse anymore, they have made millions, they can hire new and talented staff.
The modders for the game have seemingly made far more content to this game than the actual devs. I don't care if a troll gets a new texture, or if they buy a horse (which for some reason was listed as a update) I care more for content and this game seems to lack new content despite promises. It seems a lot of people are giving the devs a free pass instead of holding them accountable to promises they made. Remember their timetable?
Me and my friends used to be pumped about this game, but the lack of any real new content has drained that away and now I only check now and then to see if they have added anything with any real substance and I am often left disappointed.
Great games can't be rushed, sure. But at this point I expected something more. It feels like the devs don't really care, they made their money and they will continue to milk it without adding to it.
I hope I am wrong, but it really seems like this game isn't going anywhere. It's a shame, because theirs so much potential.
I also fully expect Valheim stans to attack me for daring question any of this as that seems to be a thing.

If you look at the news feed you see that this game is getting new stuff in a decent pace. Id rather they take their time and also fix up older stuff tahn rush the development just to pump out new content for people with no patience.

I mean, that's fine and dandy but at this point it's been new building stuff. If you look at the news feed you see that this game is getting new stuff in a decent pace. ! - the devs have added more staff since the game went a bit wild.
2 - game has added stuff, more than just a few pieces, said hi to the tar pits and growths ?
3 - the devs added stuff while working on mistlands, a new mob in the swamps and a new set of dungeons in the mountains plus balance changes to keep us busy.
4 - Development takes time when you are ramping up new staff, and the new guys have shown us what they are adding... hell I want the guys who done the abomination to have a look at the other mobs, that critter is sweet.
5 - tossing cash at a PC does little, the cash just hits the PC and falls to the ground... no code is done.
In brief, as long as I dont see 1.0 or DLC I am willing to wait and see, so far so good.

I wonder where people get the GANTT charts that allow them to claim IG isn't doing enough.
When Valheim was a massive success, it flushed bugs out of hiding that all the testing that had gone before had not revealed.
Guess what? Bugs that don't crawl out of the woodwork until you have a million users are freaking hard to find, and when you find where they were hiding the fix could involve major carpentry.
The devs have been fixing bugs while trying to add new content. We have seen a steady stream of updates. Any claim that they have abandoned the project is preposterous, so the goal-post must be shifted to a claim that they just aren't doing enough, per the afore-mentioned charts.
Have the developers been working 90 hour weeks? I hope to littlehearts not. Finishing Valheim is going to be a marathon, not a sprint.

I get what youre saying, but my experience at launch was pretty bug free. I didnt experience any. Yall make it sound like it was a buggy mess at launch (the general consensus).
