Duplicate gate key items
I've started a new world with my old character and brought nothing with me. Essentially it's a new game with a character that already has a lot of high level skills and recipes from the start.
Question is... will I be able to get the key items from the bosses as I go along? Like the antler to break rocks, the key to open tombs and get iron, etc...
What would happen if you lost those items? Can you get them again inside the same world?

Boss items are just ordinary items. Farm them to your heart's content.
Character progression is strictly items and skills. World progression is from choosing buffs at the spawn altar, and enemy raids from bosses that are defeated.

Also of note ... you can bring those items from another world so you don't have to level up the world events either. Still waiting to see if I get rallied creatures from the forest in a plains biome though.

You can summon and beat the bosses as many times as you want. You can have 10 swamp keys if you want.

I've done that too, but just keep in mind that if you're wanting to play the game without any work bench and forge upgrades already set up and you're counting on all your high level gear and food, you're not going to be able to repair/cook anything until you have the necessary equipment to do so.
But yes, you can still kill the bosses as much and often as you like. :)
