worth coming back yet?
Hey,
the last time I played Valheim was on april 28.
I enjoyed it, but got bored eventually.
Are there a lot of new things? Is weather damaging buildings a thing? Like in the sense, that there is a reason to build and improve your Shelter/Base.
How much more new stuff can someone craft?

If you like building there is a lot of new content. If you want progression and new critters it's pretty much just the new tar monsters, the rest is the same.

Weather does damage buildings, but it has limits to how strong it can damage them. It leaves buildings at 50% of its health and it never drops any lower. Is weather damaging buildings a thing? Like in the sense, that there is a reason to build and improve your Shelter/Base.

This is the category of game that adds less new gameplay per year than it did before it hit early access. If you're, for some reason, holding off coming back until some critical point then I'd probably just advise you to come back in late 2023 or early 2024 or whenever the game hits full release and you'll have maybe a comparable amount of new content to go through as you did in February 2021.

Unless you like to build stuff I would wait. The last update made the game run alot better and added some building parts. When the game came out they had the perfect dev blog about the plans for the game, its now gone.I hope they stick to it.Development is very slow but it is faster than star citizen.I am having fun slowly soloing game.I am in no rush .

my opinion:
as of toady my answer would be a solid "no, not yet"
Most of my group stopped playing after Yagluth, I stopped playing just after the H&H update, I just didn't see the point in playing anymore and now I just check in with the disscusions waiting for some new, real, content to be added. We'll come back when the Mistlands has a Boss. Maybe.
2 smaller updates long before mistlands drop.

There have been a few additions, mostly food. Difficulty scale seems a bit more pronounced. Playing through from a fresh world is a lot of fun, given what you learn the first time through
Plus theres a mountain update due soon, my guess would be Jan or Feb since its a side project being developed alongside the Mistlands primary update

Started a new playthrough when H&H dropped and it's like a whole new game. A much more complete game. YES, it's absolutely worth coming back now. There's so much new content at each stage of progress. It's also harder.
