In that case , the issue might be the model itself . You might need to grab a unity project , put UNIVRM into it, then drag your VRM file into the assets . Once that is done , you can go into the materials of that VRM file , change the shaders , and then , re-export the model .

Using MODs?? if so, it's not steam or valheim. Search the discussions for the solutions.

Be glad you are loading. I just return from vacation and game load gets stuck in Unity at 20% so it's looking like my 1200 hours of Valheim has been steamed. Hope it's just a temporary steam glitch.
