We are still ho{ldin}g...but hope …Óin's party went five days ago but today only four returned. The pool is up to the wall at West-gate. The Watcher in the Water took Óin--we cannot get out. The end comes soon. We hear drums, drums in the deep. They are coming.

Lol that sucks. I usually bring at least 3 or 4 pick axes with me always. Even if one or two of them is a cheap antler pickaxe, I can just throw it away or put in a box and farm another four. Then use my upgraded bronze & iron pickaxes to finish off the rest of the crypt (if I solo the crypt, anyway) and continue mining out what i need to.

Real question is did you get to keep the iron scraps from the mudpiles or did they despawn?

There are two ways i can think of right now.
First one is to activate the devconsole and use the debugmode to repair the pickaxes and dig the way free.
The second is to chose the character that got stuck and join/start another world, where you can repair the pickaxe without the console, then rejoin the world you got stuck in and dig out.

Look at the positive side, you’re gonna get a lot more scrap out of that dungeon!

I have nothing constructive to add, but thought your plight was kind of funny. I'd have been peeved.
