weird your having such problems. ive played on a few cross-play servers and haven't had a single issue yet. i have like 1600 hours in this game since i started playing on release and im still surprised so many people have so many issues.

And the game wasn't even released three years ago?!
I know all the shutdowns and whatnot because of a global pandemic can cause a different perception of time but >3yrs in <2,5yrs? Can I have your time machine?

But In general I agree - they should have waited with the external XBOX conversion/dev team until the first non EA release on Steam (or at least wait with the XBOX release until all the major bugs - world gen - are fixed).

L1m3r sorry that I was mad and rounded up my bad. It says have 900+hrs on the game but that is not really accurate because of the times I've fallen asleep on the log in screen or left it on the log in screen while I went to work so I was also guess. As far as how it happened I have no f*&^*$g idea. I tried to log into the dedicated server a friend started and got the corrupted file msg after trying to log and got booted out of the game entirely and then got the same msg every time I tried to log in.
Zathabar it say's you are a lvl 0 mate so idk watch out throwing stones in that glass house of yours.

The first thing they teach you in a high school computer class is to back up your files. I can always reload my programs but I back my data up on a CD rewritable every week.

They definitely seem like a troll but just to let you know, all private profiles are level 0. You're level 0 to me.

I was also able to restore my worlds using a site much like that but for some reason fallowing the step by step that they gave when I logged in my char was there but I got flown in and want through the opening dialog again my gear was gone and my stats were all reset to 0. granted I understand that it is my fault that happened because that tutorial obviously didn't work as advertised. That does not detract from the fact that the devs need to slow down and work out the bugs before they try to do more like idk release the ashlands. If you all don't agree that's fine idk do you.
